I've branched this into a new discussion so I can address your issue directly (and keep the other conversation focused on Stephen's duplicate email issue).

 

With the upgrade to Jive 7 we've moved from a one to one email notification system, to a one to many update system that allows you to choose the content that matters most to you through the introduction of streams. In order to get email updates about content, people, or places you'll need to add them to one of your streams. I've updated our documentation on Streams and Email Notifications that's worth a read. You can set email updates for any of your streams, including your Inbox, so that you receive an email each time a person, place, or item gets an update in that stream.


For your specific request I'd advise that you:

  1. Set up a new, custom stream using the documentation above
  2. Make sure to turn email updates to "On" for that custom stream
  3. Visit the Community Help group, select "Follow" in the blue navigation bar, then add it to your new custom stream
